Finance
Finance Department performs the major financial activities of the Corporation and the accounting of transactions that are occurring in the day to day business operations. The major functions of the section are given below:
Arrangement & Renewal of credit facilities from banks for the working capital requirements, Liaison with Government for the sanction and release of budgetary support & pending claims, Overall control on bank related matters like account opening, fund transfers, auto sweep facility etc, Management & Supervision of daily collection from the bank accounts of outlets and depots to Head Office account.
Processing of all financial transactions of Head Office after ensuring its correctness and deducting recoveries from the payment, Disbursement of Salary & Other Allowances, Reimbursement of Medical & Travelling Expenses, Sanctioning of Staff consumer loan etc. Advance Payment for Tea, Wheat & Petroleum products and its settlement.
Accounting of all transactions of the Head Office and finalization of HO accounts after ledger scrutiny & bank reconciliation.
Statutory deductions and its online remittance before the due date. Return filing of Income Tax, EPF, ESI, VAT, TDS & Service Tax before the due date and dealing its assessment matters.
Submission of reports to Government related matters like Budget Speech, Subject Committee, Estimate Committee, Annual Plan etc.
FMCG
FMCG division deals with the purchase of Fast Moving Consumer Goods for our outlets and its monitoring.
The main functions of FMCG division are
Collect indent from depots, consolidate and issue PO to companies included in CCIS purchase.
Payment to companies included in CCIS purchase.
Maintaining the software for Centrally Listing of Companies.
Ensure the participation of FMCG companies in the Supplyco activities.
